Few sources on the Internet are stating that Google is perhaps attempting to create a new social network that will be able to challenge existing ones like Facebook. Key players in social networking and media such as Digg founder Kevin Rose are saying that it is a definite possibility and might happen soon. Google is known for their attempts to jump the social networking traing in the past with services such as Google Buzz, which was supposed to be a competitor against Twitter.
