November 28th, 2010

600k Samsung Galaxy Tabs sold worldwide in the first month
November 24th, 2010
Droid Korea Herald reports that Samsung has released its sales figures for the recently released Galaxy Tab tablet. And they are impressive. 600 000 units have been sold worldwide, with delivery in most areas not keeping up with demand. This is a great start for Samsung, who are aiming for the sales of over a million units this quarter. To see the full picture, we need to compare these figures with iPad sales. Apple sold 7.5 million units since iPad was first launched in April. IPad sold over 1 million units in the first month so 600.000 is a very strong result and an indicator that the demand for tablets is high during the holiday season.
