Display is one of the most important parts of most mobile devices, because the readability of information and multimedia depends on it. LCD, AMOLED and SuperAMOLED are the most commonly used technologies on the market. Each of these technologies has its pluses and minuses. Good people from Techblog have done a comparison sunlight test and we can now see the results and choose a winner. All displays have been tested in one of the most severe tests – direct sunlight.

SuperAMOLED screen is represented by Samsung Galaxy S (4″, 480 × 800), HTC Desire has the AMOLED display (3.7″, 480 × 800), and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 (4″, 480 × 854) – TFT LCD. So which display type is the best for Australian conditions?
