But for an entry level dSLR camera, the features it delivers far outweigh the cost. It’s photo quality will amaze even professionals. If you are looking to get into a dSLR camera that you can pick up and shoot with, then this is one for you seriously consider. It weighs less than 16 oz., has a resolution of 10.1 mega pixels, and boasts both automatic and manual focusing.

And finally, the Sony Alpha DSLR-A230. This camera comes with an 18-55mm lens, weighs about 16 oz., has a resolution of 10.2 mega pixels, and has both manual and automatic focusing. This camera is a solid choice for a beginner who wants a camera that they can grow into. This camera has a faithful following, and offers a great deal at around $600 – $900 as compared to it’s bigger, higher priced sibling – A330.
