Google Android has been successfully installed on iPhone 2G. Not all features of the operating system are working perfectly, but the overall performance is quite satisfactory. The main drawback is lack of 4 functional buttons on the iPhone. Check the below video for more details.

Android 2.2 Froyo to be released on May 19?
Rumors are starting to leak that Google might release the next version of Android mobile operating system as early as May this year. According to Android Community, they have already noticed some traffic from devices running Android 2.2, and got ‘insider’ information about the operating system being in it’s final stages of internal testing. The new version of the operating system will be called Froyo. T3 reports that the new version might get released to the public on May 19. Adobe Flash 10.1 is also expected to be released for Android some time in May. Google’s Nexus One will most likely be the first phone to be upgraded to the new version. The new version is rumored to free some ‘additional’ memory, by upgrading to the Froyo Linux kernel.

Touiteur for Android
Since the time I got my Nexus One, I used a Twitter client called Seesmic, which I reviewed earlier this year. Not long ago I reviewed another Twitter client – Twicca. This time, my attention was attracted by another program of this type – Touiteur. This is a new application, which only recently changed its status to the final version. It is now available for download in the market.
