Abduction!

This game is simple as two pennies, but it doesn’t affect its quality in any way or form. Simple and straightforward games should also be given the opportunity to show themselves. Let’s see what Abduction! has to offer.

The game is about a cow. The poor animal is forced to jump from platform to platform, so that in the end good aliens save it from the agony and take to the galaxy far far away.

HTC Legend

When you first look at the HTC Legend, it’s easy enough to understand that the smartphone is continuing the tradition of HTC Hero. There are some improvements and differences, but device’s body is really the main change. The brand bend at the bottom of the device is still there, but the material has been changed, it is now a solid piece of aluminum.

HTC Desire

HTC Desire, formerly known as HTC Bravo is a  new flagship smartphone from HTC. It was recently announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. This device will succeed Nexus One at the top of HTC’s line of Android devices. This is a rather good news for Australian buyers, as Desire is more likely to be officially offered in Australia. Nexus One – Design, Size and Controls

Nexus One in the box

Nexus One does not offer any outstanding design features. Its design is quite typical for HTC, and is somehow similar to many recent touchphones. Big screen certainly catches the eye, but without a direct comparison with other phones, it doesn’t look that special. Metal edge encircles the screen and goes to the back cover. This is where you can engrave your name or something memorable when ordering the phone.

Official Android 2.1 for HTC Hero

Posted by Droid February - 11 - 2010 - Thursday 1 COMMENT

We all know that HTC are working hard to update Hero’s interface to the Android 2.1. While that work is not finished, there are few options to install the latest version of our favorite mobile OS to the Hero. Unfortunately, all of these options involve some sort of hacking and cracking. There is nothing stopping the technologically advanced users from upgrading the OS to the latest version. All other users will need to wait for the official update. The good news is that  according to recent leaks, the official upgrade is coming out in the near future.
HTC Hero is rumored to get  Android 2.1, together with the Sense interface, sometime around mid-March. The interface is rumored to include new Friend Stream widget , improved support for MS Exchange and some other benefits.

Nexus One logo

Google decided to warm up public’s interest in its Nexus One phone. They did it in a rather interesting way – by showing a story of its creation. A series of five videos will be made available on the Nexus One channel on YouTube. These videos will demonstrate the process of creation, design, architecture, component selection, testing, manufacturing and so on. And instead of seeing just a technological piece of plastic, potential customers will see the whole story, including people working on the device. A special channel got opened on YouTube, which will have video clips in which specialists from HTC and Google tell a story of Nexus One.

Profile Changer for Android

profile changer for Android

When I received my Nexus One and started playing with the latest version of Android, I realised that changing phone profiles was not straightforward and easy. When at work I usually put my phone on silent and turn the vibration on. To do that I had to go through few menus, which wasn’t very convenient. I then decided to search Market for applications that can simplify profile management. The first application that I found and installed was ProfileChanger by Cube Innovations.
