Images of Gigabyte’s first Android smartphone have been leaked to the Internet. At this stage it is unclear whether this phone will form part of the Gigabyte’s Smart line, or whether the company will create a new brand for its Android devices.
It’s hard to judge whether the images are true or not, but somehow the device in the picture is very similar to HTC G1.
Technical characteristics of the smartphone (currently available on the net) are:
- Network: GSM 900/1800 MHz (EDGE)
- Processor: Qualcomm MSM7225 528 MHz
- Memory: 256 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM, microSD memory card
- Screen: TFT 2.8 “QVGA
- Camera: 2 megapixel with autofocus
- Interfaces: Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g, Bluetooth 2.0, microUSB
- Extras: GPS / AGPS
- Battery: 1500 mAh
The Gigabyte GSmart with Android is expected to come out in February
